Gentle Tiger

Originally from Guyana, Renuka Persaud is a second-year international student majoring in Computer Science. Although she has an abundance of hobbies such as animation, reading, and photography, traditional painting is her favorite avenue of expression. She has used her creative abilities to express her personal losses and struggles, as well as to highlight the local issues and intricacies of her home country. As an East Indian, Caribbean artist coming from humble beginnings, her culture and background play a key influence for her pieces.
